Our days · infants through pre-K

A long day, on purpose.

Doors open at 6:00am and close at 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, so a parent on an early shift is not caught out.

The four groups.

These are the age bands the Louisiana Department of Education lists for this center.

  • Infants, under 1

The state rates infant rooms on responsive caregiving. Ours was rated Excellent in 2024 to 2025.

  • Toddlers, 1 and 2

Rated on emotional and behavioural support and on engaged support for learning.

  • Pre-K, 3 and 4

Rated on emotional support, classroom organisation and instructional support.

  • School age

Before and after school, with transportation listed on the state record.

Before and after school.

The state record for this center lists transportation. That is the fact we can point at.

What the record does not say is which schools the bus serves, what time it leaves, or whether a seat is free this term. Call and ask. Those answers change term to term and we would rather you had them from a person.

Questions parents actually ask.
